Project Engineer Maintenance

We are a team of experts with a strong legacy in soft flooring. We create, develop and produce durable floor coverings for premium commercial and residential applications. We have 4 premium brands are ITC, modulyss, Arc Edition and Bentley. Our 1300 colleagues are employed at our headquarters located in Waregem or at one of our production sites in Tielt, Zele or Los Angeles. Together we are The people from Belysse.

Your challenges

As a project engineer, you can count on a highly varied job in which you will perform the tasks of a mechanical work planner on the one hand, but you will also be called in to analyse, develop and monitor maintenance projects on the other.

It would be impossible to give you a complete overview of this vacancy, but we would like to give you a few examples:

• Preparing work for the technicians
• Ordering work material
• Planning and preparing preventive maintenance
• Checking work equipment and forklifts
• Analyse and prepare investment projects such as moving a steam boiler, replacing a boiler, fitting out new offices, etc.
• Contacting suppliers, analysing prices and (re)examining contracts
• You are also a member of the energy and waste management working group with the aim of further optimising sustainable production

You are in close contact with the foreman, maintenance manager and technicians and discuss the feasibility of certain projects.
As you can see, every day is different and there is no shortage of responsibilities and variety.

Your talents

Your education or experience?

Ideally, you are an electromechanical engineer, but if you have a bachelor's degree or if you can look back on great experience as a project engineer or work planner, we would also really like to get to know you.
Your passion for engineering is what makes the difference.

What do we offer ?

• Permanent contract of 40h/week through which you will accrue 15 recuperation days on an annual basis
