Flow: Belysse's Immersive Experience at Flanders Flooring Days

We have an enticing approach planned for the Flanders Flooring Days from 13-16 May. When you step into our showroom, you'll embark on an immersive expedition, guided by a narrative thread in the most literal sense.

The journey flows through the showroom space. A stream of yarn will guide you through each element of the Belysse story, slowly unveiling all that we have to offer – from retail products and white label capabilities to innovative commercial and residential solutions.

“As you enter our lobby, you’ll be soothed by the sound of flowing water in a space that’s adorned with yarn,” says Sophie Hautekeete, Head of Marketing at Belysse. “The sound is a symbol of our deep connection to the river Lys, a nod to our Belgian heritage. And the yarn, which is so essential to Belysse’s work, will elicit the visual impact of flowing water. It will be a connecting thread throughout the entire experience.”

You'll be seamlessly drawn through to the showroom, where you'll discover a curated selection of broadloom carpets, carpet tiles and made-to-measure rugs. The featured products, designed by our premium brand ITC, will showcase a diversity of colors and textures that reflect current consumer trends. Distilling the product offerings to their essence allows for a streamlined and uncomplicated experience for the brand’s retail clients.

Next, the common thread of yarn will lead you to the innovations lab. In that setting, you'll explore our product design and development capabilities. As a trusted collaborative partner for private and white label products, Belysse brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table – from trend insights to product design and technical expertise.

Before concluding your journey, you'll be invited to sink into a comfortable chair in the intimate library. There, you can enjoy a coffee and pour over an extensive range of commercial and residential soft flooring solutions by our modulyss and ITC brands.

When it comes to providing soft flooring on a larger scale, sustainability is always top of mind for us. ITC and modulyss both offer a robust portfolio of sustainable options.

Driven to contribute to a more sustainable future for the private and white label products, we have created YMPACT as a quality label for sustainable yarns. The label adds a layer of transparency, empowering design professionals to make informed, environmentally conscious choices about their projects. Only the most eco-friendly Belysse solutions receive the YMPACT stamp of approval.

To date, the YMPACT label has been applied to three types of yarn used in our collections:

• Mass-balance approach polyamide, developed in-house as a high-quality blend of virgin and recycled materials.
• 100% regenerated polyamide, created from recovered fishing nets, old carpets and other nylon waste.
• And 100% recycled polyester, made from post-industrial plastic waste.

Through a continued focus on sustainability, a significant portion of our product portfolio will carry the YMPACT label over time.
